Not every assignment has a 1.5 million budget. Not every assignment premiers on the MTV VMAs. But when you get an opportunity like that, you want to make it count. This production occurred around the same time as the birth of my son. Interestingly, the gestation period for this assignment was almost as long. The cost of raising my son is estimated to be around $475K through his 18th birthday. So I guess children are a better value.
