Bud Light has a reputation as a party beer. But could it become the party beer of summer? Earning that title would require nibbling away at the firmly established summer beer category leader - Corona. With a hint of real lime flavor blended right in, Bud Light Lime would go on to create an entirely new category of flavored beer. AND take a chunk out of Corona. Besides eye candy, this campaign is also notable for licensing the track "Lights Out" from artist Santogold which many argue was the song of that summer.
