Not only was Ace Hardware Home Services a massive new undertaking for Ace, it was also a challenging website to construct. Although the program was fast growing, the franchise locations were spread across the US, and not all locations had every service offering. Also, Ace converted many local businesses into AHHS offerings, so there was the additional challenge of retaining the existing customer base while easing in the transition. I had the pleasure of working with the UI/UX team from the very beginning on this project, with input on the initial site design and copy structure. From HVAC to Electrical to Handyman Services, it was a pleasure to dive deep and help craft the Helpful brand voice for these exciting service offerings.
